On Demon Wings EIT #5

This is by far the best book in this series. This one was scary as hell. Think poltergeist meets the exorcist. This book brings you closer to Perry and her sister Ada. In seems in this book the sisterly bond gets stronger. Everything in Perry’s life has gone down hill. Well pretty much hits rock bottom. Then strange things start happening. Like Perry seems to be sleep walking, she hears noises in the middle of the night, sees things while in her room. I mean you name it and this poor girl is going through it. Then when things get even worse Dex shows up to get her help. I absolutely hate that I have to wait for the next book. Waiting drives me nuts!
Lying Season EIT #4

In this book Perry palomino goes to Seattle and stays for a week with Dex. It’s unfortunate that Dex’s girlfriend Jenn is also going to be there. So Perry won’t be battling just ghost but her love for Dex. They go to investigate a mental hospitol. Let me tell you some freaky things happen there. At the end of the week they have a company christmas party, and alot of crap goes down. Jenn cheats on Dex. Perry and Dex hookup, then you have the ending of the book that makes you sit there with your mouth hanging open. Grab this book Karina Halle does not disappoint.

Dea Sky Morning

This is the 3rd book in the Experiment in terror series.
This series just keeps getting better and better. So the EIT internet show is starting to pick up. Dex and Perry goes to D’Arcy island. The island had been a leper colony. While there the EIT team goes through some weird things, from a vanishing herd of deer, to Perry talking seeing a small child drowning. But Dex and Perry are there alone so how can she be seeing these things? This book pushes it’s characters to the limit. Making them question their sanity. Also the relationship between the two sort of picks up.
Red Fox

This is the second book in the EIT series. Red fox is awesome. Hopefully you have read the first book in the series to introduce you to Perry and Dex. Well this book will not disappoint
The team is called out to a town called Red Fox for another investigation. Poor Perry her life has went to crap, she lost her job, and is trying to keep it from her parents until she finds a new one.
The investigation was wacky, it is about native american legends. Trust me if you liked the first book get this one as well. I would write more but I’m afraid I’ll spoil the story for you.
EIT Darkhouse

by Karina Halle
Ok for starters I love this series. For those of you that are into the reality ghost hunting shows, this is definitely the book for you. Karina Halle can make you laugh until you pee yourself or freak you out. She has a way to build up the situations until you think everything is going to work out great just to do a complete turn around to where all sucks.
It is about a girl named Perry. Perry will crack you up! So she goes and visits her uncle and cousins. They decided to have a party on the beach. Well on her uncle’s land is an old lighthouse. Ms. Perry decides to take a video camera and investigate it. While she is in there scare the pee out of herself she runs into Dex. Tresspassing Dex is doing the same thing, checking out the lighthouse. Later on Perry finds out that Dex works for an internet show. After Perry post her footage of the house on her sisters blog, Dex contacts her and talks her into going in again. Alot of creapy things happen afterwards.
This a must read book. And it is free on amazon for kindle. You can get it here

Just so you’d know
Just because I like to read paranormal books. It does not mean that’s all I read. I love mysteries, and civil war novels and such.
But I absolutely hate the twilight books. If that wasn’t bad enough the movies were terrible. I confess I did watch them, but they were like a train wreck I couldn’t stop looking. I am not the type of person that just up and quits reading abook but Eclipse just seemed like a repeat of the first two books. I also got tired of reading “Jacob has the best smile” over and over. So I threw the book across the room it still lays there in the corner, never to be touched again. This is just my opinion.
Shadow of Night
This is the second book in the All souls trilogy. This book starts where A Discovery of Witches left off. Diana and Matthew step back into the sixteenth century. Going to the past is suppose to help Diana with her “gifts”. While in search for Ashmole 782 she has to face Matthew as he was in the past. Thus uncovering some of his secrets. There are a lot of different characters, and I am excited to see where thier roles lead later on.
While I do love these books I did get tired of the my husband, my wife thing. Ok we know they are together so that can stop. With that said this book was just as good as the first but in a different way.
I don’t write long reveiws because I don’t want to give anything away. This is just a series that needs to be read if your looking for something not so young adult.
